The organisers of Quinton Stages Rally 2005 wish to get some assistance - preferably from experienced marshalls, radio operators and events organisers.

This years event will be based in the Castle Hotel Llandovery, they will be using stages in Esgair Daffyd, Halfway, Caio, Crychan and Route 60.

The organisers of Swansea Model Center Red Dragon Rally 2005 wish to get some assistance - preferably from experienced marshalls and events organisers.

This years event will be based at the Ramarda Jarvis Hotel on Pheonix Way Llansamlet, Swansea.

At the next club meeting, our chief of procurement will be selling off the current lines of clothing merchandise at cost price. Not all items are available, but this remains a nice way to get some tidy gear for cost price.

This will enable us to get a new line of clothing produced (a fresh new look) for the 2005/06 year. Come to the meeting on the 19th and snap up a bargain.

The 2004 Club Xmas Dinner Auction raised £250 for the Myrddin Special Needs School at Carmarthen - this was used at their request to purchase a state of the art Camcorder, for students and their families to use.

We would like to extend our thanks to Phil Mills and the Subaru team for their priceless donation and extend our best wishes to them for the present WRC season.

As part of the changes planned for introduction in 2005 the new calendar is now available. Please let me know if there are any events you wish me to specify in this facility - as currently submissions can only be entered by myself - and this constraint is anticipated to remain for the near future (at least while it is under construction).

Rob John is in the process of orgainising a Quiz Night, dedicated to motorsport history - so get your geekiest friends reading those rally almanacks in preparation.

It was also mused that we have the potential to conduct a Tresure Hunt in the near future - so stay tuned, and we will keep you posted with details as soon as they materialise.

The website has been under review since inception, and there are several changes to be made and released within the next few weeks.

Geraints suggested changes to the members section will be introduced in the near future (personal profiles and changes is the photos section), as well as other items suggested in the club meetings.

Have your say - please let us know exactly what you would like to see introduced or changed - All submissions will be treated in confidence, and accepted on their merits.

Additionally several bugs which have been discovered by club members will be fixed (mostly related to overly tight security in the links and classifieds sections).

The club are pleased to confirm that the route for the Darran Beynon Memorial Rally is well in hand, and we expect to run two successful road rally events this year.

The 2005 Mel Harries Memorial Rally will be held around June this year, and the exact details (including the regulations) will be published on this site as soon as they are confirmed.

The webmaster is presently creating a way for members to contribute their news, views, and opinions directly onto the site. This proposed change will be in place by late January.

Any club member who wishes to have access to the system please email the webmaster tech@ammanfordmotorclub.com. Applications will be responded to with a username & password combination in an email as well as a document, which will instruct you how to make any changes to the site content.
