Ammanford Motor Club has been established for around 23 years, and now has in excess of 50 members. The first meeting was held in 1982.
The club holds various events each year, and supports the local community via such initiatives (we recently donated £1000 to the childrens ward at Carmarthenshire's Glangwilli Hospital Click here to see the thank you letter from them).
We conduct our own Road Rallies and are proud to have members who compete at all levels in many events held throughout the United Kingdom, and beyond.
Our club is highly valued throughout the motorsport community thanks to the tireless efforts of our members, who as volunteers undertake professional support of such high class events as the FIA's Rally of GB.
We have annual club trips to Ireland during which members are able to recharge their batteries, and undertake a period of Rest & Recouperation (operating in a spectator capacity).
We provide training to support all of our Marshalls, prior to events, and are proud of all of our members and the valuable work they provide in supporting the greater motorsport scene in the UK.
Currently we have two specific charities we aim to support throughout 2005, Glangwilli Hospital (childrens ward) and Carmarthen Special Needs School - if you can help in any capacity with raising funds for these good causes - do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Ammanford Motor Club is affiliated with the MSA and WAMC.
