We intend to publish as much information on the event as possible here in the next few days.
We appreciate that most of you had a great night, however we are keen to elicit as much information from competitors as possible, such that we can improve our future events, and give you a better service.
Please send us your comments on the event, everything will be treated confidentially, and we will use the information you provided to make sure we get better in the next rally we run.
The Mel Harries 2005, Final Instructions
Finals for the Mel Harries Memorial Rally 2005 can be found at the following location
(finals with entry list and location map - modified 0016 - Thu 30 June 2005).
The lottery-style entry selection, was made on 13 June 2005 at 7pm.
The method of section was lottery-style. Each entry form had a raffle ticket attached (stapled to it), and the audience (the 34ish people who attended the meeting) each picked at random from a full envelope of tickets (i.e. without actually seeing them) an entry for each class.
The process took approxiamtely 2 hours, and the transparent process we followed ensured that the pick was fair.
10 Percent of the entries were made by the Club after lots of consideration (spanning the last 3 meetings), and given to people who have done lots of gratis work for the club, and quite frankly deserved an entry more than anybody..
Apologies to everyone who failed to get an entry - your completed entry form (with cheque or whatever) is on its way back to you - people who provided split-cheques (2 or more payments) will have a different cheque returned from the club with deductions and a cover note. Good luck next year.

Regs and Entry form for the 2005 Mel Harries Memorial Rally
The regs have just been published (June 1 2005, 16:20 BST).
Click on the Regulations link to download your copy now! - there is no time to delay - Entries must be returned to the enclosed address within the next 10 days (as specified in the regs).
You need to print and return the Entry Form, but you must also have a copy of the regulations printed with you at the rally start - to ensure you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the event - which you will be expected to have signed off prior to starting the event. Good luck!!.

This event has been scheduled for the 2nd / 3rd of July 2005, and preparations are well underway.
